Welcome to the Earthpure Blog.

This blog is a first step toward the development of our more comprehensive site which is expected to launch in 2012. The blog is here to get a conversation started about all aspects of sustainable food while we develop the technical tools for our next offering which will be A Social Network for Food™. In the blog we will talk about recipes, health, sustainability, our current food system, “super foods”, you name it. It’s a way for us to start the conversation before we launch A Social Network for Food™.

What is A Social Network for Food™?  We have developed innovative social media concepts to create local and national connections between people, restaurants, farms, CSA’s, food processors, markets, distributors and institutions. We believe these tools will help us all develop a more sustainable relationship with our planet, while also putting us back at the table, the original social media tool.

Our vision is to use the latest communication tools to share, cooperate, communicate and create the best food system possible. A food system that nourishes our bodies nourishes the soil and respects all inhabitants of the earth. Along the way your Earthpure experience may be as simple as finding a deal on at a fantastic Earthpure member restaurant or finding an amazing tomato variety at a farmers market while traveling. We want Earthpure to be your source for sustainable food information.
